Kingsford Church of Christ

"Sunday Club" is the name given for the very special ministry to children operating during school terms and at the same time as our Sunday morning worship.

Children between the ages of 4 and 16 years are actively involved and participate in learning all about the Word of God through many and varied means:

• Music and Movement/Dance
• Story-telling
• Drama
• Art and Crafts

Every week, the team of teachers and helpers plan, prepare and deliver an exciting and contemporary programme for children whose families attend Kingsford Church of Christ and those who do not. The planning and preparation supports both the "churched" and "unchurched" child.
Children are ministered to in small age appropriate groups with 1-2 teachers/helpers present at all times.

Jesus said let the children come to Him and not to hinder them (Luke 18:16). The Sunday Club teaching team takes this command seriously. Many children have made personal and lasting decisions to follow Jesus through their involvement in learning about God, and the care and concern afforded them in a child-focussed loving environment. We praise God for the privilege of ministering freely to children and young people of all ages.
